I had ignored the SBUX breakfast sandwiches until just a few weeks ago. I was just getting to enjoy them.

Here I have been doing Settings > Software Update for the last 5 days when ever I am bored, “just in case” it came early. Looks like we have to wait another 2 weeks at least.
Quick, see how it reacts to freezing cold! What ever you do, don’t touch it!
Just learned that there is a banner at Kent Station announcing a new Apple Store. Since Kent Station looks like the same sort of development as Uptown Gig Harbor, it gives me hope that we could see one there too.
My favorite encryption program is going to have a OS X version in the next 30 days. This will make a truly cross platform way to exchange data in secure way.
The Pacific Northwest tree octopus (Octopus paxarbolis) can be found in the temperate rain forests of the Olympic Peninsula on the west coast of North America. Their habitat lies on the Eastern side of the Olympic mountain range, adjacent to Hood Canal. These solitary cephalopods reach an average size (measured from arm-tip to mantle-tip,) of 30-33 cm. Unlike most other cephalopods, tree octopuses are amphibious, spending only their early life and the period of their mating season in their ancestral aquatic environment. Because of the moistness of the rain forests and specialized skin adaptations, they are able to keep from becoming desiccated for prolonged periods of time, but given the chance they would prefer resting in pooled water.
I am pretty security minded, so some of that has rubbed off onto Robin. Especially when it comes to the internet. So this morning she registered for the Puget Sound Bead Festival. So what did she find when she read the automated confirmation email? Our complete credit card number. Jezz.I realize the odds of it being compromised are slim to none. But come on people, who the hell designs a system like that these days? Did I write them an email? You bet I did, and I kept rather professional too. I can not wait to see the reply. So if you are thinking about attending, I would think about paying with some method other than the web site.
