It’s a sad day around my office today. You’ll notice that I usually do not mix office stuff with this blog. I am making today an exception. I have lost some friends today and hope that they fair well in the coming days.
I have been playing with the Dashcode editor in Leopard. One of the first things I did was try to create something that would clip a RSS feed for Sound Transit alerts about Sounder. Robin and I think her group did a great job of telling a story. Which one is Natalie? The main character/star of this little 6 min film.
Well this year we took the day off. Since my sister, her family and my mother are in Oregon with Kate, we had Thanksgiving at Jeans (Robin’s mother) this year. So we got to relax, eat, help with dishes and go home. It was nice not to be the ones hosting 18-20 people for dinner.
We did get a chance to talk to everyone in Oregon via video and Skype. It was good to see Kate.
Yep, today is Robin’s birthday. Be sure to drop her a line or wish her happy birthday in the comments.

This is why I protected our pay-pal account with their security key the day they came out. It cost only $5 and is a very secure way to protect your account.
