We caught up with Wayne and Taunna this afternoon so they could show us their latest family member. Newton. A papered 8 week old Pomeranian puppy they got today down near Olympia. So we meet at the Mandolin Cafe where already Tuanna is getting a little to Paris Hilton with her pup. Complete with the handbag carrier for him.
I want my iPhone and I want my Leopard. I wanted them at the same time. Oh well.

Coming home today I rode to Kent. Had some extra time and to check out the stores in the Kent shopping mall next to the train station. There is a new See’s Candy store. So I bought some Easter candy. I must have been a sight in my riding clothes trying to hang onto a large See’s Candies bag while on my bike!

I was about half way through watching the Children of Men DVD when I realized why it was so familiar. It reminded me of Half-Life 2. Like the scene on the refugee bus and some of the shots of the totalitarian society. Then today I googled “Children of Men Half Life” and found I was not alone.
How was the movie? Meh - I give it 3 stars, but want to add a fourth for the whole Half-Life 2 thing.
