Yeah, for the first time in 4 years I did not do the Chilly Hilly. Friday night I joined friends and co-workers to say good bye to John in “a wake type” fashion at bar on 1st avenue. I was extremely hung over along with that crying headache you get in the back of your eyes. After crying into 6 apple martinis that will happen. By the time I was up and moving it was 1:30 in the afternoon. That’s when I realized that my bike was still in locker at the Tukwila, it would still need some quick maintenance. So the prospect of driving to Tukwila, bringing the bike back to GH and the prospect of rain.. I said the heck with it. OK I did not say the “heck with it”, some of my younger nieces read this blog now and then.

I have had problems with my main windows machine in the upstairs office for the last couple of days. So I bit the bullet and backed up what I could and deleted the windows partition and re-installed from scratch. 8 Hours later, I am almost done. It was a painful experience. Have I mentioned lately that I love my MacBook Pro?

It just keeps getting better and better..
