I always try to keep a large space in front of me in heavy traffic, but I never realized that I was actually benefiting all traffic.
This old 286 computer running at 8 MHz, with 1 MiB ram and no hard drive (the OS, all software and the site is on a single floppy!) still serves a purpose by acting as a fully functional web server running DR-DOS. Also includes a description of how to build your own server on an 8088 or newer, and links to all software required!
This makes me want to start up my 486 running OS/2 ver 3 again - just to see how quickly my internet connection would go down!
Found this site on a DIGG posting… Generate your own warning lables at http://www.warninglabelgenerator.com/Left is a real example. They are small and perfect for placing on the right device. Example, the one above says “DANGER: DO NOT LOOK AT LASER WITH REMAINING EYE” that I could easily paste on my laser pointer.

I have always been a fan of www.despair.com and their art work. I have had the Achievement poster at my desk for 3 years now. I was having lunch with my sister and Katie today and the subject of despair.com came up. When I got home, and picked up the mail, I found a new despair.com catalog. Some cool, new and funny stuff. However, what I thought was worth blogging was on page 29 of the catalog. An ad for the despair.com video and audio podcast! I’m down loading them now as I type this… I’m sure it will be worth it. Well, I’m hoping…
Well we are down to less than 24hours before Thanksgiving day (2004 pictured left), we have been cleaning and doing laundry since Friday. I should start a betting pool that will allow family to pick the time Robin goes to sleep tonight. Squares in 15 minute increments… Last year I think she stopped cleaning around 4AM.
