My friend Morgan and I took our Kayaks out to the Nisqually Basin we ended up there just before low tide. So we quickly went out near the wildlife refuge and back before the tide went all the way out. You do not want be out there at low tide. You can find yourself in 12″ water one moment, and the next you high and dry in the mud.
So after that we just paddled over to Anderson Island, had lunch and came back. Lot’s of eagles and blue heron’s.
