This huge mass off the coast of Alaska which at first was thought to be a possible oil spill. It in reality a mass of algae — an unknown type of algae. Could I be the only one who thinks that this could be something that came out of the melting ice caps? Something that has not seen the light of day since dinosaurs ruled the earth? All I can think of is The Blob. Remember how at the end of the movie they dropped the creature in the frozen polar cap? Maybe it’s been set free by global climate change?
